This Privacy Policy explains how Helpful Home Buyers, a home-buying business operated by Ubuntu Enterprises LLC (“Helpful Home Buyers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you use this website, submit a form, call us, or exchange text messages with us.
Mobile information and text messaging. No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, and this information is excluded from every category of information sharing described in this policy.
1. Information we collect

- Contact information: your name, mobile or landline phone number, email address, and mailing address.
- Property information: the address of the property you contact us about, its condition, occupancy, your intended timeline, and any details you choose to share about liens, taxes, probate, tenancy, or repairs.
- Consent records: whether you checked the box consenting to receive text messages, and the date, time, and web page on which you did so.
- Communications: the content of emails, text messages, voicemails, and notes from calls with you.
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you viewed on this site.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to operate the site and measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Information from public and third-party records
When you ask us for an offer on a property, we may look at publicly available records about that property, including county assessor and recorder data, tax records, recorded liens, and recent comparable sales.

- To contact you by phone, email, or text about your property and your offer.
- To negotiate, prepare, and perform a purchase agreement, and to coordinate closing with a title company or closing attorney.
- To keep records required for our business, our lenders, and applicable law.

3. Text messaging (SMS/MMS)
If you check the SMS consent box on one of our forms, you agree to receive text messages and phone calls from Ubuntu Enterprises LLC dba Helpful Home Buyers at the phone number you provided. These are customer care messages relating to your property inquiry: replies and follow-up questions, notification that a written offer is ready, appointment reminders, and transaction updates through closing. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages.
- Consent is optional. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, of receiving an offer, or of any other service.
- Message frequency varies depending on the status of your inquiry.
- Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply to messages you send and receive.
- Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages unless you opt in again.

We use a messaging platform and telecommunications carriers to deliver these messages on our behalf. Those providers process your mobile number solely to transmit our messages to you and are contractually prohibited from using it for their own marketing. 4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or share your contact information with lead generators or other buyers for their own marketing. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers: our customer relationship management system, email and messaging platforms, e-signature provider, and web hosting, each bound to use the information only to provide services to us.
- Transaction parties: if you enter into a purchase agreement with us, we share what is necessary with the title company or closing attorney, surveyors, inspectors, insurers, and our lender.
- Assignment of a contract: if we assign a purchase contract to another buyer, that buyer receives the contract and the property information necessary to close. This is disclosed in the contract you sign.
- Legal requirements: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Mobile opt-in data and consent are never included in any of the sharing described above for marketing or promotional purposes, and are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for those purposes.
5. How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and property information for as long as needed to evaluate and pursue the transaction, and afterward as required for our records. Records of SMS consent and opt-out requests are retained for at least four years after the consent or opt-out, as required for compliance with telephone and messaging regulations, even if you have opted out. Closed transaction files are retained for at least seven years. You may ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.
6. Your choices and rights
- Texts: reply STOP to stop, or ask us in writing.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or ask us directly.
- Calls: tell us to put you on our internal do-not-call list and we will.
- Access, correction, and deletion: email info@helpfulhomebuyers.net and tell us what you want. Depending on where you live, you may have a legal right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including an SSL-encrypted website and access-controlled systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

This site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them information.
